Music on/off Music on/off Crowder Pacien (Patience) a Former slave. Join the 103rd Infantry Regiment from Pennsylvania and was placed in Company C. This regiment had been sent to North Carolona during the Civil War. When the regiment returned home, Crowder came with it. He was mustered into service April 4, 1864 and mustered out on June 25,1865.He moved to a farming area in Mechanicsville, Pennsylvania, and remained there a year. HE moved to Pittston Pennsylvania and found employment as a coachman with a family named Schooley.He married Miss Elisie Veden in 1874. He died on January 30 1930.
